Khalil Karzai, Chinese Ambassador To Afghanistan Exchange Views On Fighting Terror

Kabul (BNA) The ambassador of China to Afghanistan called on political deputy to foreign ministry Hekmat Khalil Karzai here yesterday and exchanged views on matters pertaining mutual interests including enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries and the war on terror.  During the meeting, Khalil Karzai lauded the role of China in the first round of strategic talks among Afghanistan, China and Pakistan and thanked China for its support to Afghan peace process.
The Chinese ambassador said that his government as a friend of Afghanistan by organizing conferences, exchanging messages, economy and diplomat activities to stabilize security in Afghanistan would play active role by launching mega projects of trade and economy in the country. The joint efforts of Afghanistan, China and Pakistan in the war on terror, enhancing trade and economic cooperation and Afghan peace process under the leadership of Afghans were also discussed in the meeting.
Holding next security meeting among Afghanistan, China and Pakistan were also discussed and decided that the date for the said joint meeting would be fixed later. Fighting terrorism and separatism in its all forms including fighting (East Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM) in China and the stance of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with regard to reform in the Security Council of the United Nations were also discussed in the meeting.
