President Karzai Chairs NSC Meeting

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai presided over the meeting of National Security Council (NSC) at the presidential palace on Sunday.
According to presidential press office to BNA, presenting his report in the meeting, the minister for defense said that the national Security Council had foiled all the movements of the enemies over the past week. Expressing concern over the artillery shelling of Pakistan army on Kunar province, the defense minister said that the national security forces are capable enough to respond to any threats.
The minister for interior in his report said that police have been implementing the presidential decree on removing tinted windows vehicles and collecting illegal arms in Kabul.
The national Security Council in the meeting called for implementation of the order in all provinces of the country. Al-Hajj Mohammad Alam Rasikh the minister advisor to president on tribes and social affairs presented his report on murdering civilians and burning civilian houses in Tat Zaghan and Niazbig villages of Pashtonkot district in Faryab province to the NSC meeting. In the meeting the ministry for interior was tasked to take necessary steps for improving security there.
