Kabul (BNA) The general commander of NATO-led International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) General John Campbell called on First Vice-President, Mohammad Younus Qanooni the other day, BNA reported.
During the meeting, the Vice-President expressed gratitude to the NATO member states over their commitment to support Afghanistan in providing training, equipping and strengthening the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) at the recently held NATO summit in Wales.
The Vice President also stated that the process of vote audit by the election commission had been completed and Afghans are hopeful to see the national unity government in its earliest.
In his remarks, the ISAF commander stated that Afghanistan needs national unity government, saying he is hopeful to see the election deadlock end.
