1,200 Pieces of Weapons Collected

Kabul (BNA) The deputy to interior General Abdul Rahman Rahmani has said that 1,200 pieces of weapons had been collected during his visit to the western region.
Briefing the chairman of Senate Fazal Hadi Muslimyar here yesterday, General Rahman added that during the visit which took place by road, six private security firms had been disarmed and 1200 pieces of weapons had been seized from their possessions.
He also added that hundreds of kilo grams of explosive objects had also been discovered.
Stressing for ensuring security for the citizens, Muslimyar hoped for more equipment of the national security forces.
