Kabul (BNA) Boxing selective competitions started under the name of Mohammad Ali Keli Cup today in capital Kabul city.
According to BNA report, aim of the championship is recognizing superior boxers among youth and adults.
About 319 boxers from center and 23 provinces participated in the competitions and will compete each other in the weight of 49-91 Kgs within the next 7 days in sport and physical education directorate’ gymnasium.
Mujeeb Qari Zada member of publication in sport and physical education directorate told BNA, 48 better boxers will be selected at the end of the contests.
It is mentionable that boxer athletes from Paghman, Bagrami, Kohdaman districts of Kabul province, boxer players from nomadic, higher education ministry, education ministry, Afghan National Army, National Security Directorate, and Afghan National Police also participated in the tournaments.
