Taliban Fighters Sustain Heavy Losses during Air Raids

QALAT CITY (BNA) As many as 16 members of Taliban fighters were killed during air attacks carried out by Afghan air forces within the last 24 hours in southern Zabul province.
The insurgents have been targeted inside their hideouts in Shahr Safa, Myzan and Shinki districts of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of the country told BNA reporter, 16 armed oppositions including their three local commanders were killed and several others were wounded.
Four hideouts belonged to Taliban along with all military equipment have been demolished following the assaults.
According to another report, a weapon storage belonged to Taliban group have been discovered in Qalat city the provincial capital of Zabul province.
Military official in the province says, several heavy and light weapons have been seized from the weapon storage.
