First Plane Landed in Kunduz Since IEA Took Control of the Province

Kabul (BNA) The first aircraft has landed since the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan took the control of northern Kunduz province today.

The plane transported four Doctors Without Borders, including two female doctors in Kunduz.

The director of Kunduz airport said that the airport in the province was operational and there were no problems with flights.

Matiullah Rohani, head of cultural affairs of Islamic Emirate in Kunduz, said flights to the province’s airport would continue from now on and the airport had no technical problems with flights.

At the same time, Wahidullah, deputy director of Doctors Without Borders said he was happy to be operating in a safe environment.
