Kabul (BNA) Presidential advisor on national security, Mohammad Hanif Atmar met with Russian ambassador to Afghanistan Alexander Mantytskiy here yesterday and exchanged views on matters relating mutual interests including military cooperation of Russia.
In the meeting, Presidential advisor on national security said that Afghanistan needs the support of neighboring countries and region in the war on terror, adding Afghanistan believes that overcoming terrorism requires the cooperation of regional countries and neighboring states.
Russian ambassador assured his country’s support to Afghanistan’s anti-terror policy and backing peace and stability in this count ry.
