Afghanistan Moving Towards Stability, Progress In Cooperation With Intl. Community, Marshal Fahim

Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim first vice-president met the US ambassador to Kabul during which Marshal Fahim recalled the US cooperation along with other world countries to the people of Afghanistan and stressed that Afghanistan has taken bold steps towards stability and progress with the cooperation of world community and it is necessary that efforts are made for preserving of these values.
He also emphasized on the need for lasting security and stability in the country and considered it important for development of Afghanistan.
He noted that efforts are made that parallel with strengthening and equipping of the security forces of Afghanistan the spirit of cooperation and friendship among the people and the level of support of people to these forces through provision of services and cooperation with them are also increased.
The US ambassador congratulated the people of Afghanistan on the successful results of the Consultative Loya Jirga and explained the need for signing of the security pact.
He also mentioned continued US cooperation with the people of Afghanistan and stressed that success and progress of the people of Afghanistan and ensuring of peace and security is the wish of the US people.
