Kabul (BNA) The foreign ministers of NATO member countries in their session in Brussels agreed to continue their major mission that is training Afghan security forces and support them.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes what has discussed on Afghan issue in Brussels indicates that Afghanistan is still at focus of NATO and international community.
NATO secretary general delivering a speech made it clear that a powerful Afghan security forces is of great importance for NATO and NATO mainly focus on two issues in Afghanistan: Training, advising and cooperating Afghan security forces and continuing financial support of the forces until 2020.
What had happened in Brussels is very promising for Afghan political community, this is Afghanistan in critical days enjoys the international support and their support continues, but the Afghan people have many demands that the international community should focus on. The problem originates from here that there are certain circles in western and regional countries that consider Afghan war as a civil war and criticize the country illegally and baselessly. In addition, they extend their mission in Afghanistan every year, they still not dealing Afghan issue that has dangerous and complicated foreign dimensions as it deserved. While the current situation in Afghanistan requires to strategically and realistically assessed and then accordingly design the plans and programs. Because what certain circles abroad claim and call Afghan problem as a domestic problem make a big mistake.
Since, Afghan problem is a regional even beyond regional problem and Afghanistan is involved in an intelligence and proxy war launched by certain powers that want to achieve their goals, established Taliban, Al – Qaeda and Daesh who conducting barbaric and inhumane attacks claim the lives of many innocent people daily in Afghanistan.
What NATO says regarding its persistent support from Afghan security forces is promising, should not consider the last. NATO as a credible and powerful organization with strong economy, it would be better to focus on external factors of Afghan problem. If the external factors of the current problems in the country that is the sanctuaries and training and recruiting centers of terrorists and extremists in the region eradicated and the proxy war made to stop there will be no need for extension of NATO and international mission in Afghanistan. It is an obvious fact that the main problem of Afghanistan is foreign intervention if it stopped the problem will settle immediately forever.
For this purpose, the Afghan suffering people ask the international community to think practically about the reasons behind instability and insecurity in Afghanistan and deal with the countries that directly and indirectly support terrorism and extremism accordingly. Became this our neighboring countries and their intelligence services that recruit, train, fund and arm terrorist and extremist groups and send to Afghanistan for killing and destructions. They manage and organize drug traffickers and commit many other crimes. If the criminals and their supporters punished for their crime already committed the challenges that not only threat Afghanistan and the region but the entire world will be vanish.
