President Ghani Vows Severe Punishment For Intercontinental Hotel Attack

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the cabinet held session the other day, the presidential palace said in a statement.
At the outset, condemning the terrorist attack on Intercontinental Hotel in the strongest possible terms the president said a delegation has been assigned to investigate the incident, the statement father said.
He added after completion of the investigations, the results would be shared with people and those who have committed negligence in the respect would be punished, the statement added.
Afterward, the draft law on formation and authority of judicial force was presented by the justice minister.
After discussions, the meeting tasked the ministry of justice to discuss and review the mentioned law in a session with second vice president, head of Supermen Court, ministers of justice, defense and interior, NDS directorate and attorney general under supervision of the presidential office, the statement continued.
The cabinet then principally approved the report presented by Supreme Audit Office (SAO) in the meeting and tasked the ministry of finance and SAO to reform the report’s defects and set it up for presenting to the national assembly, the statement added.
Likewise, Amanullah Ghalib, head of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat presented his financial report of Sunbula 15, 1396 fiscal year and the report of a committee on borrowers.
He also presented the suggesting proposals to collect the loans.
The cabinet tasked DABS to establish an electronic payment system in cooperation with minister of telecommunications and information technology.
