Jalalabad (BNA) A senior ISIS member was arrested during an operation in Nangarhar with two of his colleagues.
Mullah Shah Mahmoud, who had recently been appointed as ISIS military chief for Pachiragam district, was targeted by national security forces in a hideout last night and arrested along with two of his colleagues.
Nangarhar national security source told BNA that Mullah Shah Mahmoud was planning new terrorist attacks that were targeted by security forces.
Several weapons were seized from the detainee.
For at least the past two years, four ISIS military officials have been killed in a military offensive in the Pachiragam district of Nangarhar.
