150 Armed Opposition Join Peace Process

Qala-e-Naw (BNA) A group of 150 insurgents joined peace process in Badghis province the other day.
Col. Mohammad Qayoum Angar director of security command in the province told BNA correspondent, the armed oppositions from 2 years ago led by Mullah Baz Mohammad were involved in destructive, terrorist and anti-government activities in Nahrab village, Aabkamari district of Badghis province, which with understating of reality give up their weapons and joined peace process.
Angar added, the militants’ group submitted and handed over 150 various types of arms to government.
He further added, with joining of the group in peace process, Aabkamari district changed to a secure area and Taliban militants’ activities decreased in the district.
