President Ghani Meets Pakistani Politicians

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in the second day of his visit to Pakistan met a number of political parties’ leaders and politicians yesterday.
The leaders met the president includes Mahmoud Khan Ackhakzai the leader of Awami Millie Party, Aftab Ahmad Khan Shirpaw the leader of Qawmi Watan party, Asfandyar Wali the leader of Awami National Party, Mrs. Shir Bano Rahman of Pakistan People’s Party and few others.
During the meeting, it was hoped that both Pakistan and Afghanistan to work closely to ensure peace and stability in both the countries as well in the region. Stressing on confidence building and expanding relations between the two countries, the politicians said creating bilateral trust can guarantee economic interests of the two nations.
The Pakistani politicians also expressed their support for efforts to stabilize security in the region. President Ghani pointed out that the people of both the countries can play significant role in enhancing relations between the two neighboring states. With regard to the common security threats, president Ghani said that honest cooperation between the two countries would enable the two sides to overcome the challenge.
