Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating six round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent a series of blast in Kabul and Kapisa provinces.
The mines have been discovered and defused from Sorobi district, Kabul province and Tagab district of Kapisa province.
A police commander told BNA correspondent, the mines had been planted by Taliban militants and wanted to carry out bloodiest incidents on civilians and Afghan security forces, which fortunately the mines have been discovered and confiscated by cooperation of local people.
Taliban militants by planting mines and bombs in crowded areas of Afghanistan claims the lives of innocent civilians.
