Scientific, Research Seminar Held At MoFA

Kabul (BNA) A scientific and research seminar titled ‘Prospect on Afghanistan and Iran relations’ was held by strategic studies center for ministry of foreign affairs and participation of deputy minister of administrative affairs for foreign affairs Atiqullah Atifmal and general director of political and international studies for Iranian foreign affairs ministry Dr. Mustafa Zahrani and his accompanied envoy, officials of the ministry, a number of researchers and knowledgeable figures here in Kabul.
In the seminar, Afghanistan deputy minister of foreign affairs while stressing on further cultural and political relations between Afghanistan and Iran considered discussions on phenomena of insecurity and expansion of terrorism in the region between studies centers of the two countries as significant and valuable. Following, general director of political and international studies for Iranian foreign affairs ministry Dr. Mustafa Zahrani pointed to religious and cultural commonality and spoke related to prospects on Afghanistan and Iran relations, considering cultural cooperation as facilitator for starting economical, trading and political cooperation between the two countries. At the end of the seminar, a memorandum of understanding was signed between strategic studies center of Afghanistan foreign affairs ministry and political and international studies center of the Iranian foreign ministry here in Kabul.
