Kabulis High Council To Do More For Citizens

Kabul (BNA) The Kabulis high council once again committed to provide more services for those native to the capital after, monthly holding get together with them and hearing their problems, the secretary of the council said the other day.
Mohammad Farid Shlezi told that the council had been consisted of the political elites, some of both house members, university teachers, doctors and some of Kabul ordinary citizens and more than 600 active women. The council has so far constructed clinic, schools, bridges, wells and other requirements for the people in some Kabul related districts such as Shakar Dara, Guldara, Paghman etc…, Shalezi said adding the council was planned to do more for the Kabul citizens, particularly those native to the capital, through what he said a process of collecting money from the members as membership fee. In our meeting, the people welcome our efforts of cooperation, and asked the council for drawing attention from the government in this respect, the secretary added.
He regretted over what he said a growing attempt to prevent the council of its cooperation with the people as Shalezi who failed to win the eligible vote for the Kabul provincial council membership has been faced several cases of attempt in his life. There are several circles attempting to prevent us from providing the Kabul people with cooperation as last year, I suffered injury in my leg during a dagger attack form unknown men in the fifth Kabul district, when I was on the way home, according to him. Although, the security organs vowed to identify those involved in the incident but no one had so far been arrested, Shalezi continued. None of the members had link with the political parties or certain groups, he said asking the reporter to closely see the activities, the council is doing for the people, but complained about lack of security in the country and no attention from the government to the provincial council support.
