Kabul (BNA) Upper House or Mishrano Jirga of Afghanistan National Assembly has offered warm greetings and best wishes on the occasion of International Labor Day to world laborers particularly laborers of Afghanistan.
The message said, “Marking of this day is in fact the celebration of strong wills of laborers who are making economy of human society by their strong and powerful arms.
The day is also a remembrance day of the struggles and efforts of the world’s laborers celebrating the first day of May as sign of struggles against injustice and cruelty across the world. International Labor Day is celebrated in our country at a time when hundreds thousands of our young laborers are looking for jobs in neighboring countries or joining the country’s unemployed people.”
In the message, Mishrano Jirga of National Assembly stressed that government of Afghanistan should take practical steps for improvement of livelihood of the country’s laborers. In the message, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and relevant organizations responsible for capacity building of the country’s laborers were also asked to make efforts for training and capacity building of laborers and providing employment facilities to them.
