Kabul (BNA) The Afghan officials asserted that attack on American University (AUAF) in Kabul had been managed and designed beyond the Durand Line.
In National Security Council (NSC) meeting held recently, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan had telephoned Raheel Sharif, Pakistani Chief of Army Staff, during which he shared three numbers with him that were contacted with attackers on AUAF.
According to Pakistani officials, they have started investigation in this regard, as the numbers have been tracked between both countries’ border. The Pak officials have not still commented on arresting anybody or finding any evidences in the connection. The government of Afghanistan could recently talk with the Pak government based on evidences, through which we can overcome the ongoing challenges imposed by Pakistan. Finally, the Afghan government has decided to demonstrate to the world that who or which country is behind insecurities and problems in the region. Therefore, the world countries should make efforts to remove the terrorism roots in the region, otherwise, ensuring security and stability is impossible in Afghanistan and the region. In a declaration recently issued by Pakistani military asserted that Raheel Sharif assured President Ghani he won’t let his soil to be used against Afghanistan.
This is unclear that Sharif’s assertions are real or not, but the people of Afghanistan have not still seen any practical step taken by Pakistan in the respect. But, the government of Afghanistan with its strong policy and diplomacy said that based on evidences and proofs, the recent Kabul suicide attack had been managed beyond the Durand Line. It shows that the government of Afghanistan is decisive in war on terror.
It is to be mentioned that the world countries have undoubtedly realized that terrorists are being produced by Pakistan to insecure the region and the world. In fact, the government of Afghanistan has proved it can stand against regional intelligence plots and showed to the world who is the enemy of humanity.
Based on its foreign policy, the government of Afghanistan wants to maintain good relations with all countries of the world and doesn’t let anyone or any country to interfere its internal affairs.
Thus, if the neighboring and regional countries want to get rid of terrorism and insurgency, they ought to cooperate with the Afghan government and don’t let the terrorist factions to be freely operational.
This is not the first time that the government of Pakistan says its soil won’t be used against Afghanistan, but it doesn’t see the facts that where Quetta council center, Haqqani network, and other militants’ groups are being trained. It is worth mentioning that the government of Pakistan will not give up double policy before Afghanistan. Therefore, the world countries should not stay calm against terrorists’ supporting countries, otherwise, presence of world military forces, particularly the U.S. wouldn’t be in the benefit of Afghanistan and the region.
The people of Afghanistan believe that the government of Pakistan is the enemy of education and is making effort to prevent the Afghan youth from getting education somehow. This is while that Washington has decreased its military and economic aids to Pakistan over the last years. Based on statistics, Pakistan had been assisted $3.5billion by the U.S. in 2011, but the number decreased by $1billion in the current year. The U.S. secretary of defense, Ashton Carter has announced a few weeks ago that he has stopped $300million assistance to Pakistan, because, it has not practically stepped up against Haqqani network.
