Mullah Baradar: Private Sector that has Created 1.5M Jobs, Can Help Boost the Economy

KABUL (BNA) Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), said at the closing of the “Afghanistan Economy conference” “private sector that has created 1.5m jobs in the country can boost the economy. If the sector is being supported, and a major problem of Afghanistan’s economic challenges would be solved” adding private sector is important for the growth of our economy.
Mullah Abdul Ghani said: “We welcome the request of the private sector of the country to unfreeze Afghanistan’s funds and in this regard, we thank the efforts of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The Afghanistan Economy Conference was held yesterday with the ministry of finance support at Char chinar’s Palace of Arg in Kabul, in which representatives from 20 countries physically and 40 other countries representatives were participating online.
The conference missions assess Afghanistan’s economic, private sector, and banking issues to find appropriate solutions to the current economic crisis in the country.
