Kabul (BNA) At least 10 Taliban militants were killed during a series of clearing operations led by Afghan National Army (ANA) forces across the country.
Ministry of Defense’s press office spokesman said BNA, the operations were conducted in relevant areas of Kandahar, Helmand, Nangarhar, Laghman and Parwan provinces, as a result 10 militants were killed, several wounded and four others including Mullah Hassan their commander have been arrested.
Also some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and 12 rounds of mines discovered and confiscated during the operations by Afghan National Army forces.
Meanwhile, two National Army soldiers were martyred as a result of a roadside mine explosion.
