Definitely, their role and contribution of allies of Afghanistan could be one of the effective strategies to overcome on the issue and settle it down in a proper way. International, community by respecting the prevailing laws of Afghanistan must contribute in setting down the current electoral deadlock and table mechanism in this respect and persuade the involved sides in the election process to attend the negotiation table. So, the UN maintains crucial role. The UN technical team must be engaged into the issue and make sure that the fake votes are separated from the genuine. Besides international community national personalities also have important role in resolving the issue.
Because, after the first Bonn Conference and establishment of the new political system, it was the political figures of the country, which laid the foundation of the government and protected it, so in the view current circumstances, the national figures are able to forge consensus between the candidates and through negotiations and discussions solve the issue. But it is quite significant to realize that the negotiations must be conducted in accordance to the provisions of the constitution of Afghanistan and the election procedures. Government of Afghanistan also keeps role to find a way out to the issue. So president Karzai and his two assistants should also play their role to resolve the issue so that the electoral stalemate comes to an end soon. The election management bodies must also work and make a mechanism so that satisfaction of the two candidates is attained with respect to the outcomes of the elections.
A consensus is need to be forged between the candidates and pave the way for confidence building measures between them to prevent a possible crisis in the country and the people can’t tolerate to confront another issue and tragedy.
