Kabul (BNA) The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Abdullah Abdullah received the acting governors of Kabul, Sar-e-Pul, Paktika, Kunduz, Nimroz and Logar provinces the other day.
Presidential press office stated BNA, during the meeting, the acting governors besides congratulating the CEO over assuming office also briefed him about the problems of the provinces and their people. Appreciating the acting governors for their services the CEO promised to solve their problems in its earliest.
According to another report, the head of custom departments of the ministry for finance called on the CEO and exchanged views on checking corruption and increasing the revenues. To increase the revenues, the CEO stressed for checking corruption and bringing reforms in custom sector. Similarly, the members of the commission to fight corruption lead by Usmani in meeting with the CEO the other day presented its report to him. Usmani assured that his commission would continue to fight against corruption.
