Lashkargah (BNA) Eight armed militants were killed in a conflict by security forces in Helmand province last night.
The conflict occurred in suburb of Lashkarga city while a group of insurgents stormed on a security checkpoint.
A senior commander of ANA in the south of the country told BNA, eight insurgents were killed in the clash.
It is said that no harm and losses incurred to security forces and residents in the clash.
According to another report, the security officials of Helmand province discovered two weapons caches of Taliban.
Numerous of heavy and light weapons were seized from the caches
