Kabul (BNA) a combined team of Afghan and coalition forces detained a member of Haqani network during in an operation in the Pul-i-Alam district of Logar province today. According to ISAF press release to BNA, this person made roadside mines for attacks on Afghan and coalition forces across of the country. According to another report, a combined team of Afghan and coalition forces conducted a mopping up operation for arresting of Taliban leaders in the Pashtoonkot district of Faryab province. The mentioned leader was chairman of Taliban commission in that province and involved several of kidnaps, suicide attacks and roadside mines and other attack on Afghan and coalition forces and state authorities. In this operation the security forces detained two suspect rebels and seized several Kalashnikovs, a grenade and explosive materials. ISAF press release said that the Afghan and coalition forces carried out operation for arresting of a Taliban leader in the Zormat district of Paktia province, the person carried out attacks of roadside mines and indirect attacks across of country against Afghan and coalition forces, in which they arrested two suspect rebels.
