Kabul (BNA) Foreign Minister, Zarar Ahmad Usmani in the company of minister for higher education, Dr. Obaidullah Obaid on Tuesday distributed certificates to those who passed the foreign ministry entry test.
Welcoming the 48 participants of the test who found ways to foreign ministry, foreign minister Usmani said, the aim of the test for entry to the ministry is to promote merit and capacity by choosing talented youth which is helpful for today and future of the country and protecting larger national interests.
A total of out of 1,300 graduated people from law, political sciences; journalism and literature attended the test and of which 175 shortlisted of those 48 succeeded to join the foreign ministry.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Arezo Nuristani and Farid Khan Alizai promised to serve with foreign ministry with letter and spirit.
