Kabul (BNA) The spokesman for Independent Election Commission (IEC) Noor Mohammad Noor said yesterday that the auditing process is going on and so far, 2171 ballot boxes out of 22,800 ballot boxes have been audited in the presence of observers from both the presidential candidates, national and international observers. Noor also added the IEC can increase the number of auditors to accelerate the auditing process if the candidates agreed. Although the auditing process has been suspended few times, presidential spokesman said that the auditing process would be completed on 3rd Sunbulla (August 25) which follows swearing in ceremony of new president.
