Kabul (BNA) Ministry of Defense MoD reported from the death of 40 rebels in the country in the past 24 hours.
Press office of MoD stated BNA, Afghan National Security Forces ANSF led the operations with support of air and artillery forces in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Zabul, Faryab, Kandahar, Paktika, Maidan-Wardak, Badghis, Ghor, Farah, Sar-e-Pul, Nemroz, Herat, Baghlan, Kunduz and Helmand provinces in which 40 insurgents were killed including 23 ISIS fighters, 13 foreign nationals, and a Taliban commander named Khalid was among the deaths.
Also during the operation 10 insurgents including a mine maker and shadow advisor of Taliban were detained in Shinwari district of Nangarhra province.
