Nine Insurgents Killed In Kunduz Operation

Kabul (BNA) Nine armed oppositions were killed by Afghan National Army forces operation in Kunduz province last night.
Ministry of National Defense press office spokesman reported BNA correspondent, Afghan national Army forces conducted a clearing operation named Shaheen 11 aiming to ensure peace and stability and clear the regions from existence of insurgents in the outskirts of Gor Tapa area and Archi district of Kunduz province, as a result 9 Taliban militants were killed and 7 others wounded.
In the operations several regions of the province have been cleared from the existence of armed rebels.
Some weapons, ammunitions and war equipment seized by Afghan security forces following the operations.
