Kabul (BNA) The President of Tajikistan, Imam Ali Rahman has congratulated Abdullah Abdullah over assuming office as Chief Executive Officer in the national unity government of Afghanistan.
In the message the Tajik President said, “Your success in the presidential election was the result of your honest efforts and struggle in Jihad and resistance over the past years under the leadership of the great sons of Afghanistan Ustad Burhanuddin Rabbani and Shaheed Ahmad Shah Massoud for the freedom and unity of Afghanistan.
The Tajikistani President also hoped for the success of national unity government and further enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.
