Kabul (BNA) At least 24 Taliban insurgents were killed and 8 others wounded during clearing operations led by Afghan National Army (ANA) in the past 24 hours.
A senior commander of ANA told BNA, the operations were launched aiming to annihilate armed oppositions in relevant areas of Kandahar, Faryab and Urozgan provinces, as a result 24 Taliban including their local commander were killed and 8 others injured.
There were no any casualties among Afghan National Police and civilians following the operations.
