Kabul (BNA) Four thousand acres of lands were cleaned from poppy bushes in Kandahar province yesterday.
Jawed Faisal spokesman of Kandahar governor told BNA, four thousand acres of poppy fields have cleaned from poppy bushes in Panjwai, Zhari, Miwand and Shah-Wali-Kot districts of Kandahar province.
He added the eradication program began one month ago and will continue until the complete eradication of poppy.
The source added, during operation there was no any resistance.
