Jalalabad City (BNA) At least 4 worshipers including the Mullah Imam were martyred and dozens others sustained injuries in a bomb detonation during Juma prayer in eastern Nangarhar province yesterday.
A local in-charge of Hasark district of the province told BNA correspondent, the bomb was placed in pulpit of a mosque in Hasarak district and exploded, while the people performing the Juma prayer in congregation.
A witness of the incident says, about seven worshipers lost their lives and number of them were wounded following the blast.
Meanwhile, doctors in a health center in Nangarhar claimed that the health conditions of 10 injuries are not satisfactory.
No groups or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the bloodiest event, but local officials called that armed oppositions are responsible of the deadly explosion.
