Kabul (BNA) Convergence further improves the values and opportunities but discord eliminates the values and achievements.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes the existence of political differences on strategies is one of peculiarities of democratic systems, but not too much to destroy the national interests. The Afghan decades suffering people hope, differences of opinions over management and running the relevant affairs of the country are a factor for accelerating the process of affairs in right direction.
The Afghan people, after suffering decades’ long pains and grave problems, now enjoy of having certain rights. Using their rights, they voted in several rounds of presidential and parliamentary elections, exercice freedom of speech, and a democratic government in their country. However, controversial statements can harm this democratic process and erodes the commitments of the government regarding the establishment of good governance. The Afghan people, who have been beside each other as a nation during the years full of challenges and problems, expect the authorities of the country avoiding all differences including ethnical, religious, and linguistic discriminations fulfill the aspirations of their people and foil the ominous conspiracies of foreign enemies of the country.
The people wish, the differences in views and opinions present in a logical way, with high accountability and seek ways for their solution. Emergence of differences and fanning them would be a major barrier on the way of implementing democracy, rule of law, ensuring justice, and management. The politicians and the leadership of the country better know about the above facts there would be no need for more details. Therefore, instead of destructive criticism and accusations, should all work toward building a prosperous life for the suffering people and fulfill their commitments for the establishment of a peaceful and secure society based on rule of law. Implementing the articles of the constitution of the country in practice would certainly lead us to achieve this noble goal; this is ensuring peace, security, and tranquility of people.
