Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai awarded the High State Medal of Bravery to General Ali Ahmad Director of National Security of Badakhshan.
At the ceremony held for this purpose at the Presidential Palace, Dr. Sadeq Mudaber Director General of Administration Affairs and Secretariat of the Council of Ministers read out the presidential decree to this end.
The decree says that General Ali Ahmad s/o Mohammad Jan director of national security department of Badakhshan had actively participated at the military operation of Wardouj district and he has performed his tasks untiringly, so the President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in order to praise his services awarded him with the High State Medal.
In the decree success has been wished for him and for all security forces of the country and further services towards ensuring peace, security and struggle against terrorism.
