NUG Leaders, Vice Presidents Discuss Key Issues on Agenda

Kabul (BNA) In a meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the country’s First Vice-Presidents, Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum, Second Vice-President, Mohammad Sarwar Danesh and Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah discussed some key issues relating to the ongoing situation.
According to BNA report, the country’s senior authorities spoke about the current situation and how to overcome the current problems. Upcoming elections were also one of the most important issues discussed in the meeting, and a timely and transparent process was called very effective and helpful on the current situation. The issue of peace with the government armed oppositions was also one of the agenda, on which the meeting urged that the process should be accelerated further than ever. The meeting also focused on the formation of a big coalition of Afghanistan, on which, First Vice-President, Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum said that such coalition was one of the demands of a democratic system and that the main aims was to strengthen the reforms process, not a move to stay against the government. The arrest of Nezamuddin Qaisari and his colleagues who are still in detention of National Directorate of Security (NDS) was also discussed in the meeting, with the First Vice-President emphasizing on their release.
