Kabul (BNA) As many as seven anti-government militias were killed and 23 others were injured following clearing operations conducted by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office by sending a statement reported BNA, the operations have been launched by support of Afghan Air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions and ensure security and protect the lives and properties of people in various parts of Nangarhar, Paktika, Urozgan, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Faryab, Takhar, Nirmoz and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons belonging the terrorists have been discovered and seized during the military operations as well, the source added.
