Daikundi (BNA) The roads connecting nine districts with center of Daikundi have been blocked due to heavy snowfall.
According to reports, snowfall is still continuing in the province and up to now nearly 70 cm snow has fallen.
According to Qurban Ali Uruzgani, provincial governor of Daikundi, continuous snowfall has blocked the roads of nine districts to traffic.
Uruzgani said the snow and storm has also blocked Qalaq pass which connects Kabul with Daikundi province.
Meanwhile, governor of Daikundi said they had signed an agreement with a private company for cleaning the snow of the roads.
The company has started cleaning the road of the snow.
