Eighteen Armed Insurgents Killed In ANSF Operations

Kabul (BNA) At least 18 Taliban rebels including five ISIS fighters were killed and 13 others were wounded during separate mopping-up operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in 12 provinces of the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the clearing operations were conducted by support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress Taliban militants and ensure security and stability in insecure areas of  Nangarhar, Paktika, Ghazni, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Ghor, Herat, Farah, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and military mobilizations have been discovered and seized during the operations.
