President Ghani Meets EU Ambassador to Kabul

Kabul (BNA)  President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting with the European Union Ambassador to Kabul, discussed issues of mutual relations, peace process, the presidential election, economic issues and bilateral cooperation, BNA reported Friday.
The ambassador said the EU supports a lasting dignified peace process, democratic values and the Afghan presidential election and would stay alongside the people and government of Afghanistan, as strategic partner, the agency quoted.
Meantime, the country’s president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani thanked the EU member countries’ cooperation in various fields with Afghanistan and asked the ambassador for his support to the lasting peace and presidential election in the country.
He said Afghanistan was willing good relation with the entire international partners including the European Union, the agency quoted.
