Kabul (BNA) In a clearing operation conducted by Afghans security forces 24 insurgents killed in Faryab province.
The operation has been launched two days ago aiming to clean the insecure areas from the existence of armed rebels in that province.
Ministry of Interior press office spokesman said BNA, in the operation some parts of Qaisar district cleaned from the existence of insurgents and including their several commanders 23 of them were killed and eight others wounded.
There is no any harm to the security forces and some weapons and ammunitions have been seized from the militants.
According to another report, in clashes between Afghan security forces and Taliban militants, an insurgent was killed in relevant areas of Qarabagh district Ghazni province the night before last.
