ANSF Able To Maintain Elections’ Security

Kabul (BNA) There is no security problem in Samangan province and Afghan security forces based in the province have the ability to maintain security during the upcoming presidential elections.
The statement was made by deputy governor of Samangan Akhtar Mohammad Khairzada in a session held for coordination of security forces in order to maintain better security in upcoming elections in the province.
“The main question is how security organs can provide a secure environment for people to safely participate in the elections,” he said. The session was attended by security officials including deputy provincial director of national security and talked on issues related to security in the province.
Mohammad Karim, provincial head of IEC also talked and appreciated security organs for maintaining security in registration centers in capital and the districts of the province.
