Victims of Recent Floods Received Aid in Baghlan

BAGHLAN (BNA) The Ministry of Natural Disaster Management distributed Food and non-food items to victim families in the Dehna Ghori district of Baghlan province on Thursday.

The head of finance and administration of the Baghlan Department of Disaster Management, said food and non-food items have been distributed to 201 families who suffered floods.

Recently, a flash flood killed four persons, and a missing one, and destroyed 201 houses plus hundreds of acres of land or farmlands in the province.

In the meantime, the Afghan red crescent society reaches assisted 120 families who suffered floods in Baghlan.

Dr. Janan Musa Zai, Head of Baghlan red crescent said: “The assistance includes food and non-food items tents, tepals, kitchenware, environmental sanitation seats, blankets, jumpers, as well as flour, rice, and cooking oil.”
