‘Media Should Tighten Nations Relations,” Sancharaki

Kabul (BNA) Deputy to the ministry of information and culture on publications affairs, Fazel Sancharaki in a meeting with the Pakistani reporters said that media should play key role in tightening relation between the nations, BNA reported the other day.
The agency quoted him as saying that the two countries’ media should make effort to enhance and expand good relation between the governments of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
According to the deputy minister, both Afghanistan and Pakistan have common religious and cultural and old relations, but due to some reasons, the relations have gotten colder, but the media of the countries could play their role in revitalization of the relation between the two countries.
Media cooperation can remain helpful and play effective role in two fields; first in bringing the two countries closers in war on extremism and second expansion of relations between the two countries’ governments, said Sancharaki.
In a query to one of a Pakistani reporters’ questions, he said insecurity and the wicked consecutives have laid negative impact on the two countries relations, but such visiting can reduce and overcome the problems. One of the Pakistan visiting media delegation members, Rahimullah Yousufzai said that they would do their best to reduce the challenges and continue to expand relation between the two countries.
Sancharaki also went on as saying that Pakistan as a close neighbor, should honestly behave with Afghanistan and the countries’ media section can increase the expectation.
The Pakistan media delegation had visited Afghanistan with the aim of improving relation between the two countries.
