Afghanistan Selected As Deputy For South Asian Commission

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has been unanimously selected as deputy for South Asian Commission (SAC) in 21st international tourism organization’s general session going on in Columbia. Talib Defayee, General Secretary of the organization congratulating Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul Bari Jahani said that through the given responsibility Afghanistan could improve the tourism industry and make use of it for development of Afghanistan and creating work opportunities. Abdul Bari Jahani promised that Afghanistan as active member of the international tourism organization would fulfill its responsibilities in a better way, asking the organization’s general secretary for enhancement of capacity in tourism sector and necessarily echoing in world form. It is worth mentioning that SAC will be headed by India, while Afghanistan will be deputy of the commission for two years from 2015 to 2017.
