Kabul (BNA) Deeply saddened over the recent incident in which up to 16 civilians had been killed and wounded in a roadside bomb blast in eastern Urozgan province, president Karzai described it an unlawful and brutal act, carried out by the enemies of Islam and humanity, his office reported.
The incident took place in Dehzak Kotal area of Dehrawood, where a Townace type vehicle overran a roadside planted bomb resulting in killing ten passengers including women and children and wounding eight others, the statement said.
The president asked for immediate recovery for those wounded and great patience for those lost their dear once in the incident.
Despite the insurgent claim they never target the civilians, but recently large number of people mostly civilians including women and children had been killed and wounded in their mines planted along the roads or lands.
