Fifty Gunmen Lost Their Lives

Kabul (BNA) Eighteen insurgents were killed in a NATO drone attack in Kunar province.
Col. Abdul Hasseb Sayedkhail police chief of Kunar told BNA, the attack occurred the night before last in Shegal district of the province, as a result of which eighteen rebels were killed.
Sayedkhail said, Noor Qasim Sabri so called governor of militants for Kunar province, Qari Osman so called district governor of armed oppositions for Shegal and Mohammad a notorious commander of them were among the dead.
Source added, there were no casualties among civilians in the attack.
According to another report, during the last 24 hours 32 insurgents were killed in different parts of the country.
Ministry of Interior press office spokesman told BNA, Afghan security forces conducted several operations in relevant areas of Kabul, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Kapisa, Ghazni, Nooristan and Helmand provinces as a result of which 32 militants were killed, eight wounded, eleven others arrested and some heavy and light weapons have been seized.
Also National police discovered and defused two mines in Bamyan and Nangarhar provinces.
