Lashkargah (BNA) Gunmen set to fire a school in Helmand.
The attackers attacked the school in Semenar village of Nahrsaraj district and set it on fire.
According to reports, most parts of the school from the building to the students’ books and documents, were burned in the fire.
Helmand security source contacted to BNA confirmed the incident and said efforts has been made to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for setting the school on fire.
Helmand education officials say hundreds of male and female students attend the school.
