Kabul (BNA) At least 23 Taliban fighters were killed during air raids conducted by Afghan air forces in northern Faryab province the other day.
Mohammad Haneef Rezayee spokesman of 209 Shaheen army corps told BNA correspondent, Afghan air forces have launched air attacks in relevant areas of Almar, Qaisar districts and Maimana city the provincial capital of the province, as a result 23 insurgents were killed and seven more including Habibulrahman known as Zolfaqar a senior commander of Taliban group were wounded.
Taliban said nothing about the incident so far.
