Herat (BNA) Twenty-six Taliban insurgents were killed in the latest fighting in Herat, and a number more were wounded.
These battles took place last night in Zawol, Gozar and Shindand districts.
A senior official from the Zafar Army Corps in the west told BNA that 26 insurgents were killed and several others were wounded in the fighting.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
